How can churches support YMCA Norfolk?
Since 1856, YMCA Norfolk has supported our local community.
Last Year, YMCA Norfolk
- Housed over 330 young people who would otherwise be homeless or living in vulnerable situations.
- Delivered over 550 counselling sessions to young people and families.
- Supported 461 families through mediation and support programmes, preventing the need for further intervention.
- Taught 342 children, who are unable to attend mainstream education due to mental health difficulties, through our E-Learning Service.
- Spoke to over 24,000 people through our SOS Bus in King’s Lynn.

Exclusive Offer at Williams’ Kitchen
This year YMCA Norfolk are celebrating 180 years of the remarkable YMCA global movement.
Since its founding in 1844, YMCA has supported more than 65 million people across 120 countries, offering support to those in need and championing various causes vital to the wellbeing of young people.
This is a feat that is definitely worth celebrating.
We are so grateful for the prayers and support of our local church community over our long history and we would like to express our appreciation to you and your congregation with an offer at our community café, Williams Kitchen (part of YMCA Norfolk, Aylsham Road, Norwich, NR3 2HF).
From 2-3pm Monday – Friday, enjoy tea or filter coffee and a slice of cake for just £1.80. To redeem the offer, ask at the counter for the church tea and cake deal, and let them know which church you attend and/or its denomination. This is available until 31st September 2024.
We’d love churches to gain a wider understanding of the work we do in their local community – How it impacts them? Why it’s important? And how they can get involved!
We can provide you with your own information, marketing materials, and a fundraising pack which can be sent directly to your church via email or post.
We can also come into church and chat to your congregation about our work in the local community and join in with any fundraising efforts!
